Langdon Hall, Cambridge

hf-langdon_fall3Out Langdon Hall’s Kitchen Window…

Executive Chef Jason Bangerterhf-langdon_fall4
doesn’t have to look far to find the inspired wild produce and seasonal ingredients he needs to perfect his purposeful dishes. After all, Langdon Hall has its own bountiful terroir that he’s grown to love. Between local farmers, foragers and the hotel’s carefully tended kitchen garden, Bangerter weaves a captivating “Sense of Place” tasting menu that’s especially sincere.

Death by chocolate…
Forget love, I’d rather fall in chocolate—Chef Jason’s French-inspired house chocolate, that is. “Terroir,” as it’s so rightfully named, spawns saporous desserts and pillow treats that are delightfully intoxicating. With its smoky warmth, his dark chocolate lingers with just the right amount of bitterness, while its shiny partner in crime, the creamy milk version, is a willful temptress. Hard to stop at just one bite!

Classic elegance
Founded in 1954, Relais and Château is one of the world’s most prestigious hotel groups, and Langdon Hall Country House Hotel in Cambridge is one of a handful of Canadian properties that qualifies for membership. From the welcoming yet unpretentious valet service at the door, to the impeccable check-in and beautifully reimagined spa and meeting rooms, we’re catered to from dawn until dusk. This, my friends, is how to enjoy a sumptuous long weekend.
