A Cornish beach house that is one of a kind

Constructed by local craftspeople on the dunelands, Stratum is a unique geological rubik’s cube that is now on offer as a Cornish self-catering holiday rental. Part coastal gallery, part luxe family retreat, it takes only a few minutes after arrival for the hazy seascape to tempt—surfing on bare morning beaches, smores around the firepit, mint julep sun-downers or horse riding along the coast.

Hidden in the quaint seaside resort town of Parranporth on the north coast of Cornwall, Stratum boasts a picturesque ocean view with a spectacular glass-front façade. Perfectly curated indoor and outdoor living spaces are said to be as quirky as they are contemporary.

This beach house sleeps up to 10 guests with ample parking for 6 behind private gates. While there’s no helipad on site, guests can land at nearby Perranporth Airfield with prior arrangements.
