Fortune favours the bold

Renowned for its extravagant hospitality and world-class entertainment, Las Vegas has an undeniable draw. For us, it’s an easy 5 hour flight from Toronto to the sin city’s sunny poolside cocktails, unforgettable meals, and endless options for both day and nightime.

A member of the Resorts World and Hilton Hotels family, Crockfords stands out as a hidden gem of luxury and sophistication that combines opulence, personalized service, and a surprisingly serene change of pace. So close, yet so far from exciting hustle and bustle of the strip—it’s the perfect choice for discerning travellers!

To provide the utmost comfort and rejuvenation each room and suite tastefully designed and decorated with light contemporary furnishings, a refined colour palette and a soothing ambience. We can’t help but comment on  the spacious layouts, plush bedding and state-of-the-art amenities we discover here.

One of Crockfords defining features is its hallmark service level. Above and beyond the ordinary, guests are also individually catered to with personalized attention. Memorable to say the least.

Time to spa
Serenity awaits at the first of its kind, Awana Spa, another jewel in the Resorts World crown. With bespoke, transformative treatments alongside thoughtfully designed water therapy areas and facilities, it’s a pleasure palace.

The event sauna offers the Art of Aufguss, a magically themed experience led by a “Sauna Meister” who curates aromatherapy, music, lighting and dancing towels in a creative wellness journey. Awana also introduces visitors to six different vitality pools, heated crystal laconium room, tepidarium chairs, vapour-filled steam rooms, cool mist showers and a Rain Walk. We leave feeling 10 years younger!

With unlimited dining options on the strip, for us, there were three standouts that I wouldn’t miss. You know, the kind of meals that you rave about and when asked about your trip.

The first within Resorts World is Kusa Nori, a modern Japanese restaurant with an extensive sake collection, and out-of-this-world, wagyu beef options, renowned for exceptional marbling, buttery tenderness and unparalleled flavour.

Dining in or out?
Secondly we can’t recommend Main St. Provisions enough. With its warm and inviting atmosphere, attentive service, and impressive locally sourced menu ingredients, it quickly win over even the most seasoned food enthusiast. Their perfectly cooked filet mignon with foie gras is as delicious as it is decadent.

But, the dining scene is not just about dinner. Brunch becomes the main event at Bacchanal, or third recommendation where, to our delight, Sunday morning dining a long way from what we’ve come to know as the typical Vegas buffet. Located in Caesars Palace, brunch at Bacchanal is an experience. With endless treasure trove of culinary delights, live cooking stations and an exceptional seafood selection, its definitely worth getting out of bed.

Visit the Neon Boneyard

If you’re more of a history buff, or just looking for some cool content to share on your socials, the Neon Museum showcases the rich past and vibrant culture of the Las Vegas through its iconic collection of neon signs.

Founded in 1996 The Museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving, studying and exhibiting vintage neon signs that have adorned the streets of Vegas in days gone by. Featuring over 200 signs, many of which are from the mid 20th century, the Museum’s curators do a fabulous job of sharing the fascinating story of a bygone era in an outdoor exhibition space called the Neon Boneyard. Guided tours are not only fascinating but provide a deeper appreciation for the history, artistry and craftsmanship of these neon creations.

A few hours spent here is both a nostalgic and visually striking experience.
