A tale of two villas

Part of a personally curated collection of properties originally assembled for family and friends for their exclusivity, beautiful surroundings and exquisite amenities, Villa La Cassinella and Villa Centinale are as unique as they are pleasurable.

Star Studded Lake Como
A secluded private estate on the western shores of the famous lake, Villa La Cassinella is simply one-of-a-kind.  Only accessible by boat, the Villa is an easy 3-minute ride from the historic town of Lenno.

Set in the midst of mature, manicured gardens La Cassinella’s principal villa is everything you could imagine and more. Guests can take their meals in the formal dining room or more casually in the drawing room that boasts a romantic covered terrace and patio. On property there’s also a full-size cinema and gym, a floodlit grass tennis court and heated pool. Terrace House, a little further along the lakeshore has an additional 2 suites, its own staff, a panoramic deck/patio and unrivaled views across the lake to the mountains. The villa also has their own boathouse and motorboat for guests to use.

Darsena, serves as the boathouse and launch pad for kayaking, wind surfing and water skiing, as well as the main staff quarters.

All in all, with 9-bedrooms/suites, there’s enough room for the whole family, every amenity possible and a full staff of 10. Starting at $100,000 a week.

Dreaming of Tuscany?
Within easy reach of Florence, Villa Centinale, in the Ancaiano district near Siena, is an extraordinary 17th century 13-bedroom villa. Originally built for Pope Alexander V11. It’s over the top secluded with gardens at renowned as being amongst the most beautiful in Italy.

Cetinale was acquired from the Chigi family in 1978, and occupied by Lord Lambton, who together with his partner Claire Ward, worked tirelessly on restoring the house and its gardens until his death in 2006. The Villa has recently undergone major refurbishment, including a new roof, new plumbing, heating and wiring, as well as several new bathrooms. All of this has been achieved without altering the original character or appearance of the house, which is now available for private rental for the first time.
