Baby it’s cold in here
While  hot tubs may still dominate when it comes to hydrotherapy, a new report suggests that the use of cold water ice plunges, also known as ice baths, has been growing. Used to treat inflammation, discomfort and muscle soreness in athletes for years, it’s now becoming more popular with consumers looking for alternatives therapies and treatments for neurologic and musculoskeletal conditions.

Described as “a more common-sense approach” to wellness, the “Soft Living” movement is all over TikTok these days. Driven by Gen-Z‘ers who are pushing back against the hustle-productivity culture, it’s influencing spa treatments and travel experiences. Soft life fans believe they shouldn’t have to beat themselves up with workouts or obsess about every little ingredient they put in their bodies. Yes, they believe in staying well but they want to feel good, eat what tastes good and take a softer and more relaxed approach when it comes to time off. Sounds like pampering to us.
