Back to nature…

Not so far off the beaten path that it’s a challenge but isolated enough for privacy and communing with nature, Fronterra is a 58-acre regenerative botanical farm on the waterfront in Prince Edward County.

The love-child of husband-and-wife duo Jens and Inga whose vision is to foster a shift toward healthy, sustainable living, Fronterra reconnects us to the simple life—with a few modern-day conveniences.

Overnight accommodations are in heavy-duty prospector tents with premium bedding, outdoor showers and full camp kitchens. Expect a self-sufficient few days. Guests can help tend the family’s harvest gardens, enjoy botanical ‘mocktail’ sessions, explore lovely woodland trails or simply wander through the couple’s vibrant flower fields and cut their own blooms.

Spending a weekend at Fronterra promises to be the ultimate off-grid ‘glamping’ experience that’s designed to transform—a fresh, fulsome, dare we say, healing experience that reconnects one with the natural world.
