Windsor Arms team to make boxed lunches for first responders

As we all do our best to help each other, the wonderful folks at the Windsor Arms Hotel and Cerise Fine Catering have taken it upon themselves to prepare 500 boxed lunches a week to support frontline professionals and first responders at the Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto.

This week’s menu, designed by Executive Chef Shawn Whalen, made our mouths water! Mediterranean salad with roasted chicken breast, artichokes, chickpeas, olives, green onion, soybeans, roasted red pepper, cucumber, tomato, quinoa, goat cheese with balsamic vinaigrette. There’s also a granola bar and a banana.

“With longer hours, longer shifts and more patients, the last thing these folks need to worry about is what they’re going to eat,” suggested Mateus de Campos, GM of Cerise Fine Catering.

The folks at HF also can’t wait to get back to the Spa at the Windsor Arms, one of the most discreet spots in T.O., where intimacy and attention to the finest details help them to take care of visiting royalty, film stars, and heads of state.
