Unapologetically social…

Wrapped in the tropical beauty and pristine deserted beaches of a family-owned, ninety-six-acre cay, ‘Sip Sip’ at Kamalame delivers a signature Bahamian blend of laid-back chic in a modern island home designed for gathering, entertaining, and feasting together.

Sip Sip is owned by Toronto’s Sebastien and Sheila Centner, the long-time authors of our Homefront Entertains column. Their Villa sits directly on the Atlantic Ocean and is acknowledged as the island’s most contemporary home—a real gem in Kamalame Cay’s Private Collection.

The perfect getaway

Its open-plan design boasts indoor, outdoor rhythm that naturally brings everyone together.

Kick back in comfort

True to their love of entertaining, this layout offers the Centners’, and potential guests, a chance to enjoy the relaxed island vibe. It’s ideal for either a family vacation or a group celebration.

Anchored by an indoor wet bar, television lounge, and curated art that gives the villa its confident, gallery-like presence, Sip Sip has four beautifully designed bedrooms that can sleep up to twelve guests. (ideal for six adults and six children). In all, the one-of-a-kind villa boasts two king suites with indulgent outdoor bathing areas, a flexible king/twin suite, and an elevated bunk room that’s perfect for children or younger guests. Every bedroom enjoys direct access to its own romantic outdoor shower.

A beachfront swimming pool is the focal point for daytime lounging, while a separate sunset deck with lounge seating, sit-up bar, and outdoor dining area creates the perfect stage for memorable social evenings that stretch long after the sun goes down.

The luncheon…

Once a month the joyful afternoon of dining, dancing, and drinking with a lively crowd of friends, family, international hotel guests and island home owners, takes place. It’s a chance to enjoy Kamalame’s signature island cuisine, beautifully dressed tables and hospitality. One of the most talked about Saturday events in the Bahamas.
