With deep roots in both the Friuli region of Northern Italy and British Columbia, Carlino at the Shangri-La Vancouver is named after the grandfather of the owner.

Led by award-winning Chef Mark Perrier, the eateries menu honours the bounty of both regions—the forests, mountain ranges, lakes and coastal waters. Perrier’s approachable style and ever-changing seasonal menu features tasty ingredients from local farmers, fishmongers, foragers and ranches and blends well with wonderful classic Fruilian dishes served family-style.
