Getting more out of life

Quivira transforms moments into memories

A grand, gated community built on three miles of pristine beaches, Quivira is a one-of-a-kind master-planned oceanfront community. Sheltered in a mountain valley, but 15 minutes from Cabo San Lucus, the hillside location hosts combination of exclusive private residences, stylish seaside hotels, a spectacular golf club and a collection of bespoke, world-class amenities and dining experiences.

Whether you come to the tip of the Baja Peninsula for a week, a month or a lifetime of ownership, the elegance, serenity and award-winning atmosphere at Quivira promises to be a quintessential getaway experience. Sunny,
relaxing and curated to be just the way you’d like it, there’s something here for everyone as we discover.

If you’re putting down roots as a resident, you’d likely want to participate in Q Life—a unique club created for residential owners that offers a menu of individual pursuits and group activities. Built around 6 themed pillars and designed to inspire new ways to enjoy a healthy, well-rounded lifestyle there’s everything from guided tours and walks, art, cooking and wine experiences, Spanish lessons, movie nights and owners cocktail nights.

Referred to as the “Pebble Beach of Mexico” the enclave’s Quivira Golf Club has been voted one of the world’s greatest golf courses and its easy to see why. Opened in 2014 and available exclusively to residents and resort guests, the Jack Nicolos designed, 7085-yard layout boasts spectacular ocean views from every hole. And, when it’s time to chill….the feel good Armonia Spas offers a tempting menu of self-renewing treatments to promote harmony of body, mind and spirit. From deep tissue massages to organic facials spa going here is all about well-being.

Dining on property is fabulously varied and service top notch. LaFrida at Pueblo Bonio Sunset Beach takes the lead during our recent visit. Its’ intricate Spanish candlelit interior, inspired by Mexican artist Frida Kahlo is Cabos most romantic enhanced each evening by a wandering violist. Under Tijuana native, Chef Anaisa Guevara’s guidance, LaFrieda’s menu is focused on 100% Mexican flavours and is now an AAA Four Diamond destination.

Looking ahead there’s more to enjoy on the horizon as the Quivira community continues to expand. The breathtaking lighthouse bar, additional residential offerings, upgrades to some of the existing properties and upcoming opening of both the St Regis and Rosewood properties are definitely cause for celebration.

Definitely a noteworthy destination that’ll keep us coming back.

Saving the turtles

The resort community’s 2024 sea turtle program was its most successful yet with 1735 nests safeguarded and 174,000 eggs in custody. For guests visiting, there’s the opportunity to join the conservation team and carry hatchlings to the shallow surf where their chances of survival are greatly enhanced.
