She floats in an eco-friendly way

Directly connecting to the iconic Vancouver Convention Centre, a new ‘on-the-water’ floating hotel is being proposed for Vancouver harbour.

With 250 urgently needed rooms and taunted for its promised next generation low carbon, eco-friendly impact, the boat-hotel hopes to be a ‘jewel in the crown of the Vancouver Waterfront’. Tourism experts are calling it a, “unique, world-class venue that will create an exciting new destination on the already vibrant city harbour”.

The vessel will source all of its power needs from renewable energy and will also operate without discharge into the water, fossil fuels or engine/generator emissions. The project will be newly built for Vancouver by Finnish hotel developer Sunborn International Holdings in partnership with the Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre.
